Nita was born in the cultural haven of Yogyakarta, and Aaron has spent four years there, one and a half of which was spent studying gamelan full-time at Institut Seni Indonesia – Yogyakarta. Both Aaron and Nita are accredited LOTE teachers, which puts them in an ideal position to understand your needs.

The services that Bagus kan! provide can best be divided into two sections. There is a performance of Indonesian dance, shadow puppets and music entitled 'Pen-tawasik' (Pentas - tari wayang dan musik). There is also a variety of full day incursions.These are practical, hands-on workshops, where your students will get to learn to play gamelan music, learn an Indonesian dance or some other aspect of Indonesian culture, such as Pencak silat, Kendang (drumming), Angklung, Village games, Batik, Cooking, Becak hire etc. For more information regarding full day incursions please click here.
